Back in 2010 I struggled to find a Valentines gift for my husband, so taking inspiration from our wedding stationary I’d made a few years before, I created one myself – a framed picture of paper hearts. I received so many lovely comments about it that I was inspired to create more, set up Daisy Frames and I was thrilled to make my first sales shortly after!
My passion has always been for anything creative since a young age – sculpture in particular, but I took a different career path for a good few years after education. Whilst on maternity leave with my eldest child I had the inspiration for designing and creating further personalised keepsakes and framed art for childrens' bedrooms and after having our 3rd child, my husband and I made the huge and very exciting decision to hand in my notice from my part time day job in IT and give Daisy Frames my full attention. I work mainly in the evenings, often late into the night once our children are tucked up in their beds. My product range has expanded over the years, growing from framed textile artwork to hand cut wooden keepsakes, embroidered hanging hoops and wire work.
